Priced from £30,000 plus VAT, the Transit Custom Active is identified by its unique 17‑inch alloy wheels, signature Active mesh grille, roof rails and additional cladding on the wheel arches, body sides, rear bumper and mirror caps.

Full-width Active decals at the rear are complemented by badges on both wings. For an extra £550 plus VAT, customers can also opt for a mechanical limited slip differential (MLSD) for even greater traction when travelling off-road.

On the inside, all Active models benefit from a unique interior specification, including a part-leather seat trim. As the Active is based on the Limited trim level, it inherits quite a generous specification including front and rear parking sensors, front fog lights, power folding door mirrors and an 8-inch colour touch screen, compatible with Android Auto and Apple Pay.

Active models are available with the 130PS, 170PS and 185PS power ratings of Ford’s 2.0-litre EcoBlue engines. Automatic and manual gearboxes are available across the range, although the optional mLSD is only available on the manual transmission.

The Active panel van is available in both short and long wheelbase with a gross vehicle weight (GVW) of 3,000kg, while the Active DCIV (Double Cab In Van) is also available in both short and long wheelbase but with a GVW of 3,200kg.

Price and availability

The Custom Active is priced between £30,000 plus VAT for the manual panel van and £34,800 plus VAT for the automatic DCIV. The Active is available from Ford’s reputable Transit Centre network and is backed by a 3-year, 100,000-mile warranty.
