Our Rating

With a history stretching back over 25 years the latest fifth generation VW Caddy has been announced with a new look and a slightly different name, but don’t worry it hasn’t changed that much, Caddy Cargo! The VW Caddy 2021 Specification and Prices also covers the three trim levels and the latest driver assistance systems.

The new VW Caddy 2021 comes with a 2.0 diesel and a 1.5TSI petrol engine, both to 2021 Euro 6 levels, with the diesel having three power settings rated at 75PS, 102PS and the top of the range 122PS. The 1.5 petrol is rated at 114PS and features “Active Cylinder Technology” which temporarily deactivates two of the engine cylinders in light load to help improve fuel consumption.

Gearbox

Volkswagen have always had an interesting choice when it comes to drivelines, the 75PS and 102PS are equipped with a six speed manual gearbox while the more powerful 122PS and petrol engine have the option of the seven speed DSG. The four wheel drive 4MOTION is available on the most powerful 122PS diesel.
