If you’ve ever thought your work van could do with a bit more personality, Peugeot might just have the answer. The new Expert Sport takes the brand’s everyday mid-size van and gives it a bold, motorsport-inspired makeover — drawing directly from Peugeot’s 9X8 Le Mans racer.
It’s available to order now in both diesel and electric form, and comes in Panel Van and Crew Van bodystyles. Pricing starts from £41,295 plus VAT for the diesel and £51,845 plus VAT for the electric E-Expert Sport.

Sporty looks, everyday practicality
You won’t mistake this for your average white van. The Expert Sport gets a more aggressive look thanks to a new bodykit that includes a front lip spoiler, reshaped rear bumper, and side skirts. There’s also a bold rear roof spoiler painted in bright green, and a set of 18-inch alloy wheels with performance-focused Nankang tyres.
The visual theme continues with ‘Kryptonite green’ highlights, a nod to the colour used on Peugeot’s 9X8 hypercar. You’ll find green details on the grille, the spoiler, and in the decals running along the sides. There’s a choice of Ice White or Titanium Grey paint, and the styling packs are offered across both body types.

Tough inside, too
The cabin gets a subtle upgrade with faux-leather seats, embossed with ‘Sport’ logos and finished with green contrast stitching. Peugeot says they’re not just for show — the seats are water-resistant and tear-resistant, so they’re built to handle rougher work life.
On top of that, the Expert Sport is based on the higher-spec Asphalt trim, so it’s well equipped as standard. You get:
-
Dual-zone climate control
-
Heated leather steering wheel
-
Heated driver’s seat
-
Keyless entry and start
-
Wireless phone charging
-
10-inch touchscreen with sat-nav and reversing camera
-
Blind-spot monitoring and LED headlights
-
Peugeot’s built-in voice assistant (“OK Peugeot”)
Diesel or electric?
The Expert Sport is available with two power options, depending on your preference (or budget).
-
The 2.0-litre BlueHDi diesel puts out 178bhp, making it the most powerful combustion version of the Expert. It starts from £41,295 (Panel Van) or £43,995 (Crew Van), before VAT.
-
The E-Expert Sport uses a 75kWh battery and a 134bhp electric motor. Range is slightly reduced compared to the regular E-Expert due to the sportier wheels and tyres — dropping from 217 to 209 miles on a full charge. It supports 100kW rapid charging, topping up from 0–80% in around 45 minutes.
Prices for the electric version start from £51,845 (Panel Van) and £54,545 (Crew Van), excluding VAT.

Verdict: Style-first, but still a worker
The Peugeot Expert Sport doesn’t claim to be faster or more agile than the regular model — and it’s not pretending to be a track van. What it does offer is head-turning looks, a well-equipped interior, and a choice between diesel or fully electric power. It’s designed to stand out in a crowded van park and appeal to drivers who want a bit of flair without giving up day-to-day usability.
Yes, the bodykit and bigger wheels mean a small dip in electric range, and you’re paying a premium for the styling — but if you’re after a van with a bit more presence, the Expert Sport brings something different to the table.
