Peugeot sells over 1000 electric vans already!

Peugeot has also recorded over 1000 Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) Light Commercial Vehicle sales so far in 2022, ranking as the number one brand for sales in this sector with over 50% share of the market in February. They have also increased their UK new car and van market share from 5% in YTD 2021 to 5.2% in YTD 2022, according to the latest registration figures released by the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT).

We’re very proud to be one of the few on the market that can offer customers a fully-electric variant of every model in our LCV range, and it’s great that so many customers are seeing the benefits of switching. We hope to continue this momentum into the last month of the quarter.”

Peugeots e-LCV performance is reflective of the brand’s offering in this sector with a presence in all three basic sectors with the e-Partner, e-Expert and e-Boxer completing the line-up of electric vans. Each model makes no compromise in terms of useful volume or practicality compared with the diesel versions, whilst offering all the advantages of the electric powertrain: lower running costs, ease of driving, immediate throttle response, high torque and the absence of noise, vibrations, odours and tailpipe emissions.

Peugeot, are of course, part of the recently newly formed Stellantis group which comprises of Peugeot, Citroen, Fiat, Opel which is Vauxhall in the UK and has a presence in North America through their take over of Fiat which trades as Ram in the commercial vehicle / business sector and Dodge which generally caters for the consumer sector.

To help drivers stay the right side of the law, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles offers a range of navigation options across its van line-up, including the Discover and Discover Pro systems, with free map updates, as well as App-Connect which allows you to transfer supported smartphone apps, such as mapping, directly onto your infotainment system via Android Auto or Apple CarPlay.
