Renault Master E-Tech Conversions

The Renault Master E-Tech Luton Low Loader was one of the first conversion available but the team at Renault commercial vehicles has decided to extend their offering with the introduction of fully converted Dropside, Luton Box Van and Tipper. This expansion of their electric light commercial vehicle range allows Renault to offer a diverse range of potential solutions to not only include vans operators but a wide range of conversion users.

Increased Payload and conversions

The newly introduced 3.5-tonne Renault Master Chassis Cab E-Tech has an increased payload of 1,620kg on their range of 3.5-tonne derivative, allowing it to be converted into Dropside, Luton Box Van, and Tipper specifications.

• Dropside Converted by well known and respected VFS , the Dropside is designed for those needing to effortlessly load large and bulky items to and from their vehicle, due to its open load area and 400mm high aluminium side panels.
• The Luton Box Van, unlike the tipper and dropside, the luton box van is converted by TruckCraft Bodies with its large, enclosed load area boasting 20m3 load space, is well-suited for transporting furniture, bulky supplies and more.
• The Tipper conversion is again converted by VFS offers users the benefit and practicality of a Tipper body, which is ideal for carrying and distributing materials to and from construction sites.

Master E-Tech 3.5T powertrain and driving range

Of course, in many cases with electric vehicles, the range is an important feature and the Master E-Tech 3.5T offers a real driving range of up to 75 miles delivered by Renaults modular lithium-ion 33kWh battery and this is matched to a 57kW power unit delivering 225Nm of torque. There’s also regenerative braking and an Eco mode, which help to optimise the range for the easiest and most efficient driving experience. As far as charging is concerned, the Master E-Tech is available with a 7kW Wallbox and this charges the battery from 0-100 per cent in six hours. The Master E-Tech 3.5T comes with a 3-year, 100,000-mile warranty as standard. Renault’s confidence in its battery technology is highlighted by the standard 5-year, 62,000-mile battery warranty.

The Business trim level on the Master E-Tech includes automatic headlights and wipers, Hill Start Assist, DAB with Bluetooth and USB, and electric front windows for added comfort.
