Vauxhall Movano-e 2022

Introduction

The electric version of Vauxhall’s large panel has been updated for the 2022 panel year. The Vauxhall Movano-e 2022 features a larger 75kWh battery (up from 70kWh) which increases the range to 154 miles (up from 139 miles) while pricing remains unchanged at £57,913 for the L3 and £58,813 for the L4 (after PiVG, excluding VAT).

Vauxhall Movano-e 2022 charging

The Movano-e’s battery-electric architecture has also been upgraded to reduce charging times. An 0-80% charge from a 22kW AC charger now takes just four hours (down from eight hours), while a 50kW DC (via a CCS plug) rapid charge enables a 0-80% charge to be completed in just one hour.

Electric motor

The Movano-e is powered by a 120PS electric motor with maximum torque of 260Nm, delivering instant responsiveness with no vibrations and a smooth driving experience. However, this is quite low for the large van segment with key rivals like the Maxus E Deliver 9 (203PS) and Ford E-Transit (269PS) offering much more power.

Vauxhall Movano-e 2022 dimensions

The Movano-e is available in two lengths – L3 and L4. The former is 5998mm long, while L4 offers an additional 365mm with a total length of 6363mm. See Vauxhall Movano dimensions for more information.

The future of electric Vauxhalls

Vauxhall offers a fully electric version of every LCV in its line-up today and is the only major OEM to manufacture vans in the UK. Thanks to a huge government incentive, Vauxhall will only manufacture electric vans in the UK at its Ellesmere Port plant.

In two years’ time, every Vauxhall on sale will be available with an electrified version and, by 2028, Vauxhall will only sell fully electric cars and vans – beating the government deadline by seven years. Stellantis has committed to reducing its carbon footprint by 50 per cent, based on 2021 levels, by 2030 and to get net zero, globally, by 2038.
