Renault Master dimensions

The Renault Master is the large panel van from Renault. With over 500 derivatives to choose from, our ‘Renault Master dimensions’ article helps you decide which load length and roof height is best for you and your business.

There are a total of three wheelbases, four load lengths (an extra overhang on the long wheelbase) and three roof heights offered on the Renault Master – providing load volumes of between 8 and 17 cubic metres.

The short wheelbase Renault Master is only offered on the front wheel drive model, and is available with both the low and medium roof. The load area measures 2,583mm long (5,075mm overall) and there is an 8 cubic metre load area, increasing to 9 cubic metres for the medium roof.

Medium wheelbase

Like the short wheelbase, the medium base is also only available on the front wheel drive model and the medium roof. There is a maximum load length of 3,083mm and load volumes of 10.3 cubic metres.

Long wheelbase

Long wheelbase versions of the Renault Master are available in both front and rear wheel drive form and, like the medium wheelbase, only offered with the medium roof. They have a maximum load length of 3,733mm and load volume of 13 cubic metres, although this is reduced to 12.4 on the rear wheel drive because of the raised floor.

Long wheelbase – extra overhang

The long wheelbase, extra overhang (L4) Master is the largest version available, offered with both a medium and low roof but only on the rear wheel drive. There is a load bed length of 4,383mm and load volumes of either 14.9 or 17 cubic metres.

Renault Master dimensions – overview

With four load lengths and three roof heights, the Renault Master has the widest choice of body sizes of any panel van. Customers should be aware, however, that rear wheel drive models have a smaller load area due to the higher load floor.
