With an increasing focus on electric and hydrogen-powered vans, the landscape promises more sustainable options. Here’s a look at the key models expected to arrive in the UK in 2025 and beyond.

2025 Volkswagen Transporter

The seventh-generation Volkswagen Transporter is set to launch in early 2025, introducing plug-in hybrid and all-electric powertrains for the first time. Enhancements include a 10% increase in load space for standard wheelbase versions (5.8m³) and improved payload capacity of up to 1,330kg. Pricing starts at £30,995 for diesel versions and £41,965 for electric variants (excluding VAT).

2025 Volkswagen Crafter

2025 Kia PV5

Kia’s entry into the van market begins with the PV5, a medium-sized electric van. Measuring 4,645mm in length, it offers options for a high roof and a chassis cab. Kia also hints at advanced tech features, including self-driving capabilities in future iterations like the PV5-R.

2025 Ineos Grenadier Commercial

Designed for off-road utility, the Ineos Grenadier Commercial replaces the Utility Wagon model. It offers over 2,000 litres of load space, with a flat load area capable of holding a Euro pallet. Aluminium panels replace the rear windows for added durability.

2025 Vauxhall Movano Hydrogen

This hybrid hydrogen-electric van combines a 150hp electric motor with hydrogen fuel cell technology for a range of 311 miles. With a maximum payload of 1,370kg and a cargo space of up to 17m³, it is a practical option for businesses seeking sustainable solutions.

2025 Skywell 233
